Brava Theatre Company’s mission is to provide a safe space for female-identifying artists to create and share their stories while providing audiences with thought-provoking, live theater performances that explore the human experience from a female perspective.
Founded by women theatre veterans, we are committed to amplifying female voices both on and off stage through intentional script, direction, casting, and crew selections regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, or physical or mental ability.
Our vision is to become a leading source for female-driven theatre performances of published and new works, and to provide educational and outreach opportunities for female artists throughout the Chicagoland area.
